EYELID SURGERY
Blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery (eyebag removal) is a procedure to reduce the appearance of baggy eyelids, both upper and lower. This appearance is caused by either; excess skin, muscle degradation, or fatty deposits. The procedure freshens the appearance of the eyes giving natural results and bringing that sparkle back.

Twilight Sedation and Eye Lid Surgery Recovery
Eyelid surgery/Blepharoplasty at Castlefield Clinic is carried out under Twilight Sedation (local anaesthetic with sedation), which minimises the risks normally associated with a general anaesthetic. The technique of anaesthesia also means that there is less bruising and a quicker recovery period without the need for an overnight stay.
During your recovery period, you will be provided with tailored and comprehensive after care to ensure everything runs smoothly. You should expect to be back to work after 7 days, but can resume limited daily activities within 3 or 4 days. Our expert team of nurses and doctors will guide you through your recovery period and will be there every step of the way.
